Gone were the days when the people took
“Trekking in the Himalayas” as an exclusive gift
reserved only for the limited groups of privileged
classes who had adventurous spirits sat in the knotted
muscular bodies ready to jump on the hardship of
mountain lives with scarce provisions that should run
for month on end with no compromise. However, recently
the things have taken different shape because of its
popularity gained among the holidaymakers, scholars,
adventure-seekers and the seekers of hedonistic realm
throughout the world.

temptation of hiking in Nepal Himalayas; then, what
keeps you away from the wonderful time you can have in
your lifetime !

walking in the virgin air of mountains. The single most

There are varied reason what appeal people to embrace on
trekking. The very word trekking evokes the mesmerizing
feeling of awesome and mystery in almost every
individual who has a tint of adventure in the blood.
Trekking has its own unique features to offer that suit
best in correspond to the taste and preference after
every individual.
Several attempts to climb on the world highest mountain,
Everest were made in the 1920s and 30s from the Tibetan
side of the Himalaya. When Nepal was then opened to
foreigners, a vast range of new challenges presented
themselves to adventurous climbers. Over the 30 years,
however, what began as near free access to the mountains
including Everest and the scared Machhapuchre,
progressively became restricted to a few named
expedition peaks. These mountains required a immense
peak fee and liaison officer in addition to unusually
burdensome officialdom and the month of pre-planning. |
