Just north to the valley of Kathmandu a
few hours bus ride brings one to the Langtang region.
The most easily accessible trekking route that begins
just north to the capital and can end just on the
outskirts of the valley. Homeland of different ethnic
groups, like the Tamangs, Brahmins and Chhetri, the
trail takes to the Langtang valley, walking from
villages to villages. Just on the north to this region
lies the Tibetan plateau, thus a lot of Tibetan cultural
influence can be seen in the lifestyle of the villagers.
Gosaikund, a sacred lake situated at 4,300 meters makes
this trek a very popular pilgrimage trail for the

Langtang Ganjala Trek |

The Ganjala pass is one of the most
challenging passes in Nepal. This wedge in the Himalya
is situated at an altitude of 5160m. Our Langtang trek
takes you over this pass as you make your way south from
Langtang village which lies at 3500m and where the
national park headquarters is located. The route from

views; to the west Himal chuli (7893m) Manaslu (8156mm)

Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the
north across the valley is Langtang Lirung. We pass a

rice basins of TRISULI; the great stands of rhododendron
