One of the classic treks in Nepal,
Everest Base Camp is most commonly visited as a two week
trek starting and finishing at Lukla, the airport just
to the south of Everest National Park.
Fly in to Lukla and walk to the Sherpa village of Namche
Bazaar, the monastery at Tengboche and on to Everest
base camp. It is important to allow enough time on this
trek for
acclimatization. It can be very crowded in the high
season.
